CHUG Clusters are groups of member facilities located within the same geographic area. The facilities located within a cluster work together as teams in order to remain prepared for emergencies. The key to clusters is that based on the size of an emergency, clusters can be identified and contacted quickly in order to respond. If it is a smaller issue, then the facility's member cluster will be contacted. If the emergency becomes larger, then more clusters can be contact in order to accommodate a greater number of patients / residents.
